The best way to get involved is to visit the Resource Center and talk to a staff member. They will enter your name and interests into a database, so you can be contacted when you are needed. While activities vary by political season, it is good to orient yourself
Below are some activities to consider:
Senate Recall Elections: Phoning and canvassing; Contact Jason Hicks at: jason_hicks@hotmail.com
Media: Write/sign letters-to-the-editor to raise issues; Watch/read/listen to the news for stories; Watch/read/listen for opponent ads; Be available for an interview at events; Call radio programs
Neighborhood: Be a neighborhood leader; Voter ID/persuasion canvassing; "Knock and Drops;" Lit drops
Office: Staff the front desk; Prepare mailings; Make copies; Data entry
Telephone: Voter identification; Volunteer recruitment; Crowd building for events
