Coffee Klatch

Coffee Klatch was created as a space for individuals to have conversations about matters of public importance. People do not have to be members of the Democratic Party to attend and there is no cost to attend. This gathering affords a respectful environment for people of diverse opinions to share their ideas and perspectives. Come when you can and leave when you have to. All are welcome!
You can attend Coffee Klatch in person or via Zoom. Members who have Zoom access and want to reduce the risk of illness are encouraged to join via Zoom. Masks are optional for in-person attendance.
Bring a friend (Me + 1) to any of the events in 2026 and build a sense of community.

Help us grow our Eau Claire County Democratic Party (ECCDP) community by participating in the Me + One events throughout the year. Community happens in many ways such as getting to know people you might not otherwise interact with.

Pub Night with Progressives - 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at Lazy Monk Brewery
Open Mic Evenings - 2nd Thursday each month, Shift Coffee House 6pm-8pm

The Coffee Klatch’s main purpose is to engage all citizens in meaningful discussion about political values and policies. The most important component of a functional democracy is an informed electorate.

Because this is an eclectic group, discussions and opinions shared are based on individuals’ perspectives and do not necessarily reflect the values of Eau Claire County Democrats organization. Participants are expected to uphold an atmosphere of civility and nonjudgmental interactions. To that end, all participants share responsibility in evolving an authentic and respectful atmosphere.
