PROGRAM: Guest speakers Judy Walters and Mike Hanke will talk about HOMELESS AND AT RISK VETERANS in the Chippewa Valley.

Judy Walters is the Homeless Women’s Veteran Program Chair for the American Legion Auxiliary of Wisconsin. The mission of the program is to inform members and the public of the continuous needs of the Women Veterans who are homeless or at-risk of being homeless.

Mike Hanke is the director of the Chippewa Falls Veterans Outreach and Recovery (Klein Hall), which offers housing services and recovery programs to homeless veterans. Mike Hanke is also the Wisconsin Department Commander of AMVETS. The goals of AMVETS are to promote world peace, to preserve the American way of life, to help veterans help themselves.
