This training will help service providers break down their institution bias and prepare them to provide a welcoming space for Black and Brown and queer and trans victims and survivors. Through deep self-reflections and group work, attendees will challenge their own belief about how systems work for people of color and how racism unintentionally shows up in our work. Participants will walk away with the tools needed to implement an Anti-Racist Policy within their agency. This is a 3-day virtual training with a 4th (3-hour) follow-up in August (date TBD). Limited scholarships available for VAWA, VOCA and DCF grant recipients. Please see our website for more information.
