Honor and celebrate the bold, courageous, powerful women who fought 70 years for the right to vote. They and we finally won that right when the 19th Amendment was added to the Constitution on August 26, 1920.
**Celebration starts at 5:30 p.m. at Farwell/Gray Street parking lot, walking to Owen Park wearing masks, single file with homemade signs.
**If you choose not to walk, gather at 6 p.m. in Owen Park for a short program featuring area women presenting a bit of history and addressing the continuing struggle to ensure voting rights for all:
