Devin Remiker on charting a new course for Wisconsin Democrats

Chair-elect of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin Devin Remiker discusses his vision for the state party moving forward as he takes over for Ben Wikler. Remiker looks ahead to the 2026 election cycle and considers how he might help candidates through a hostile political environment that includes threats and violence.

Coffee Klatch - occurs weekly

Coffee Klatch was created as a space for individuals to have conversations about matters of public importance. People do not have to be members of the Democratic Party to attend and there is no cost to attend. This gathering affords a respectful environment for people of diverse opinions to share their ideas and perspectives. Come when you can and leave when you have to. All are welcome!


You can attend Coffee Klatch in person or via Zoom. Members who have Zoom access and want to reduce the risk of COVID infection are encouraged to join via Zoom. Masks are optional for in-person attendance. More information is available on

People’s Protest - Weekly

4-5:30 pm at the Federal Building
   500 S Barstow St, downtown Eau Claire (corner of Barstow & Lake)

•    Protest actions destroying our country, our democracy, our society.
•    Protest cruel actions that are harming people all around the globe.
•    We owe it to everyone we love to use our right to free speech.
•    See you there! Bring your homemade signs. (Come to 440 Broadway between 10 am to 2 pm Mon. through Fri. to make signs.)
•    Parking available at Schlegelmilch-McDaniel Lot, corner of Gray and Farwell St. 

HANDS OFF EAU CLAIRE and the CHIPPEWA VALLEY April 5, 2025

Six hundred or more people from the Chippewa Valley (and some from MN and other areas of WI) loudly participated in the Hands Off Protest on Saturday, April 5, at Phoenix Park. Hundreds of signs declared support for Medicaid, USAID, governmental workers, education, US Post Office, veterans, taxing the rich, freedom of speech, diversity, fairness, equality, getting rid of Musk, and more. The crowd was inspired by the speakers: Rep. Jodi Emerson, Sen. Jeff Smith, Rep. Christian Phelps, Dana Wachs, David Rice, Laura Benjamin, Dan Hardy and Jason Bennett, Emily Berge, Eric Wilson, and Cindi Greening.  The event was organized by Bill Laman and Gloria Hochstein.
